The Lakitorish Pop of Feud

Lakitorish and Popper's relationship fell apart in the 1970s. Lakitorish was trying to apply a historical approach to philosophy of science, which had been established for about a century. But he decided that quite a few things that Coon was saying were right and Popper was wrong on these points. So I think that was the origin of the split. It was a kind of intellectual split between the two, which came really from Lakitorish's study of Coon. This is not to say that Lakitorish accepted Coon. On the contrary, he really evolved a new position, his methodology of scientific research programs, which was in some way intermediate between Coon
