The Fed's Five Step Process

The Fed is trying to get inflation to go down towards 2%. Now the path to getting there number one takes a long time and I think it works through these five steps. First and foremost step one is financial conditions tighten. Step two is interest rate sensitive sectors deteriorate first. And then along this recession roadmap the thing that happens next which is step five is inflation actually slows towards mandate.
