The Liberal Response to Freedom of Speech

I think intellectual experiments like the University of Austin, which you've mentioned there, the Peterson Academy, I would like to see more of these kinds of things in the UK. That is exactly the kind of response I can get behind. We recognize that the academy as it previously existed has been corrupted by all sorts of intolerant, unhinged ideologies and our response to that then is to create new institutions which do the things that we think a university should do. The best form of modeling behavior people like you and I could think of is to be defending a freedom of speech in every single situation.
