Are We Morally Responsible?

Scepticism and free will should go together, says Dr Peter Hitchens. We may not be able to determine whether an individual was free in any given situation so we should be kind of epistemic sceptics. And then there are other more global or radical sceptics, tho say, knowledge is possible. One last practical concern about moral responsibility scepticism is that it is unable to adequately deal with criminal behavior. The responses it would permit as justified are insufficient for acceptable social policy.
