The Exotic Artifacts

There were two of them, and they were very different than the aluminum parts. They look like they'd been cracked off and broken from a brittle surface. The layers are alternatingly made of the elements bismuth and magnesium. It turns out to be material that would propagate sub wave length wave got effects.
