The Toxicity of the Video Game Franchise

I don't think The Last of Us movie would have been nearly as successful narratively and honestly just culturally. I guess the thing that worries me a little bit is that I think video games are weirdly at this place where superhero movies were maybe after Iron Man Where we're like, oh no, this worked. But the MCU is not a thing yet.
