The Paradox of Tourism in Thailand

Thailand is enduring an amazing moment when it comes to tourism and soft power that suddenly Thailand is absolutely back. Tourism has been hugely boosted recently by Thailand's normalization of relations with Saudi Arabia. So apart from a lot of Russians who came after the obvious reasons, we've got a lot of Saudis and other Arab tourists. The only thing missing is Chinese in significant numbers, but that I think is a pattern seen throughout the region.
