The Argument for Social Injustice
There are a lot of movements now, like the fat movement and basically people who claim that they have been sexually excluded from because of social injustice. So one question is going to be whether social injustice is really a cause of this or whether we have some sort of evolutionary mechanisms that wire us in such a way to find people within a certain range to be physically desirable. It seems now somebody can argue, look, evolutionary mechanisms are just facts. They don't tell us what we ought to do. But then the argument is no longer a social justice argument, I think, because issues of social justice and justice are premised on social practices that have the roots in injustice,. as opposed to biological mechanisms
