The Clinical Effects of a B12 Deficiency
You can only absorb about a day's worth of B12 at a time. The average person is just barely scraping by the RDA. If you're trying to get like max out your B12 storage with liver, clams and oysters, you don't actually need to eat that much. And so one person might go deficient right away when they go vegan because their stores are terrible.
