The Dangers of Acceleration
G is the acceleration of Earth's gravity, which is 9.8 meters per second squared. We're all experiencing one G in general. Once you start getting up to like nine or 10, that's where you can't last very long with your blood pooling a dangerous amount. The fastest recorded acceleration was 46.2 G on December 10, 1954.
This week we're talking about our old friend, Mr. Distance-Over-Time himself: Speed! From the speediest hedgehog to the slowiest slug, we all have speed, and we can all come together and listen to this podcast to learn more about how and why that is.
