The subtitle of this book is The Rise and Fall of the World's First Empire. And if you listen to some of the other episodes from this year, especially the one about in Hedawanna, there's a little argument on what is the world's first empire. So for the rest of this episode, it'll be two more segments. In the next segment, I'm going to cover some things I learned, some connection points to the Bible,. A little bit about Ashurbanipal, who is just a really interesting leader. And then in segment three, I will cover the one thing my one key takeaway from reading about Assyria.
