Is Vim's Thermal Battery a Good Idea?

Thermal battery uses the sun's heat to essentially evaporate water. The main advantage is that this principle virtually has no energy losses, no heat losses over the season. Interseasonal storage is very, very hard hars. You need to store just so much energy. But there's no way that i could have something that size in a normal home because of the space restriction.
