The World Cup only happens every four years and there's not that many games, so it's really hard to model a sport with so little data. Most of these players play way more on their European club teams or wherever they play,. It's a big challenge to model essentially a fairly high variance sport in soccer. However, there is so much excitement around betting the World Cup, the volume is massive That even say like a top syndicate or something, they're still going to be in the World Cup because they may not be extremely accurate.
