The UN's Call for a Global Ban on Smartphones in School

UN cites evidence that excessive mobile use is linked to reduce classroom performance. High levels of screen time has a negative effect on the children's emotional stability. One in four countries have already banned smartphones in school either through law or through guidance including France which introduced policy in 2018 and the Netherlands.
