Palladio's Super Grand Column
We got rid of rustication completely. Instead, what we've got is a building which visually rests on plinths or a kind of plinth level. There's a very strongly expressed horizontal line. And all of those giant order pillars sit on top of that plinth. So you can have the super grand column and it fits. He's solving how to fit it into the start. I'll just scale it. Let's go over. If it is innovative, this is a big step forward towards classical architecture, as we know it. And it's a milestone.
