"There are lots of different things you can do and lots of different, doesn't have to be about a seamless photographic image for it to be like, compelling or whatever," he says. "The melancholy there is like, you miss so much of the strangeness, right? There's some kind of, there's something so resolved about it all." He adds: "It's only really when the inevitable happens and these things end up being kind of, you know, not perfect, that you'll start to really long for this very romantic period'
