Calvin and Lutherans - The Central Doctrine

Calvin and zwingley were of different minds when they disagreed on the lord's supper. The split between lutheran and reformed protestantism deepened until it could no longer be undone. For calvin, election is the part of god that determines how advanced among the church he or she can become. By contrast, a reformed christian thinks exclusively in terms of historical content with an eternal decree from god.
