When i was younger, i just thought, no, whem i going to have children? That's clearly a terrible idea. But then i met my beautiful wife and in the euphoria of getting to know her we had this new life together. Do you feel like you've got a much closer relationsip with your kids than you had with your parents? What i do to make up for that is i smother my children with my creepy attempts to be their best friend. I stunt their emotional growth by haping them far too close to me. And am telling them i love them all the time. O that a semblance of independence is completely squeezed out of them.
