The Evolution of Whales
When I tried to draw a whale from memory and both in my drawing and in most cartoon whales, the whale that you see is often an amalgamation of a bunch of different whales. This doesn't actually match any of them. The problem is it's so hard to see all of a whale at once. So you only ever see parts of the whales. They don't fit in the camera all at the same time. That's four different blind wise men who would think that there was five different animals. We're doing our best, the whales say.
