Enlivening

There's not very much that we get about what mgruder's doing. He shrugs, and we know that he's kind of world weary from the description. And so is opening up all these possibilities for how the conversation could go. We're like, if if i had a spectrum, if we had negative, one, zero and one, like neutral in up is going to be enlivening, unless something is specifically depleting. In our lives, most interactions are enlivened, hopefully. But in a story, you do want to have an element of mix.
