The Snake Oil Linement

A retired cowboy decided he was going to move on moseon down to another pasture. Clark Stanley aka the rattlesnake king claimed he had spent two years with hopey spiritual leaders and they taught him the secret of snake oil. He bottled this up and he sold it as snake oil liniment until like 1907 to 1916 things were getting rough for him. The US government finally came down and found no medicinal properties in his concoction. And that's funny because the guy who invented it didn't even bother to put snake ingredients in his concoctions.
