I was really excited for her to do this like right after she got fired, but I think it's even better that it's like the anniversary because I know a lot went on in between as well. Her research focuses on AI ethics and sort of problems that arise out of misuses of AI and then how it is applied. In some ways, it's pretty posed to big tech like Google and Facebook, which are really pushing on AI and sometimes deploying it before it's really safe. So exciting to see what happens next with this.
