Many Russians believe that the western, especially America, conspired against Russia. And as I said, they'll just never comprehend how scared most Americans are about that scenario. It makes sense to prepare it in case it just happens. If you are scared of a potential scenario, maybe it is. But there's not necessarily something anyone can really control.
