The Sign and Seal of Faith
In the Old Testament, you could look to the circumcision and say here is evidence that I belong to the family of God. You can use very similar language with the Lord's Supper and baptism. What do they see? Are they sealing my faith or are they sealing the grace from God that's received by faith? So who's sign and seal? That's the question.
