The Functionalism of the Proletariat
Buchanan: The critique of functionalism is it drains out notions of of conflict. It overly rationalizes as if there were a moral world author whos like, proletariat goes here,. capitalists go there, bourgeoisie goes there. And that's how this is allal all arranged. But on the other hand, lrat, look at what it does, though, right? This is the sort of thing which prepares the way for something like a universal self understanding.
