Budget allocations for children instead of going up are actually going down and this year in 2023 as I was looking at the budget analysis I was very disheartened to see how low it is. A robust oversight system is a good idea so trained social workers visiting families is aGood idea strengthening families is a way to go not taking children away from parents in this manner without fully understanding if the family is really the worst place for the child.
