The FedNow Paper on Digital Assets and Digital Currency

The timing of all this is very curious. I'm starting to wonder, you know, it's FedNow really CBDC by another name. Right. And the question is, in other words, with FedNow coming out, what does FedNow lack that CBDC is going to give the powers to be? That's a question I'm going to have in mind when I read that paper.
