How Does Helium Work?
Helium consists of three things, helium hot spots, the helium console and the helium block chain. Helium hot spots are like the rooters you use for wyfi - they transmit a long fi signal similar to radio. The low signal frequency used by helium hot spots also means that they use next to no energy from the devices they communicate with. Fetching data from helium hot spots costs crypto currency. Because helium hot spots are connected to the inter net, this makes it possible for developers to request data from compatible devices which fall within the range of the helium network.
