The Hugh Edward Story and the Dan Whutton Allegation

The allegations about Dan Whutton concern a period where he worked at the news of the world, the Sun and the Daily Mail. The charges are so much more lurid that you'd think that would be enough to elevate them to a larger press. But I think it's because they involve somebody who worked for organisations which are now having an investigation into themselves. Also, it involves journalists who may well have participated in not the kind of things that Whutton is alleged to have participated in,. but who have used techniques similar to the ones that Whutton used himself. It seems to me that, yeah, a good reason for people not to be running this story.
