I found that things were very expensive in Boston and I kind of assumed, well, maybe the salary is higher. But from a lot of people I spoke to, I found out that many people have more than one job. In the UK, we actually have a maximum number of hours that someone can work in a week. However, as far as I know, in America, they don't have this law. There's no maximum so you can work as much as you want, right? So there's many factors, but I've got a really strong sense of the work culture there.
