Kubernetes 2.0 - What's the Biggest Choice?

If you were starting Kubernetes over today, are there big choices you would make that would be different? Heptio's focus on extensibility and things like CRDs was really the second stage of the rocket. I also think that we could have done around getting things like identity and security plumbed in in some really deep ways early on.
