The Day of the Lord and His Return

Thessalonians 5 and Philippians 4 are in the context of the day of the Lord. Paul says, find your joy in something that will last and endure forever. To rejoice as the Bible calls us to means that our source of joy must be moved from temporary things to eternal things.
