Paul says that we in a positive sense have many guides in the church. Educators call this method maybe a guide on the side as opposed to only a sage on the stage in education. The purpose of the guide is not to imitate themselves but to lead you to holiness. In this case, it's Christian maturity and it's holiness at its best.
