The Cost of Dominion's Defamation

The amount of money that Dominion was paid is astonishing, particularly by comparison to previous defamation settlements in media. I don't think it was an open and shut case where Fox would have lost. And ABC News did settle to avoid Diane Sawyer and Jim Ovela going on the stand to talk about this stuff. It's like political campaigns. They're not going to do the exact same thing about election lies, but they'll do it about something differentwhere it hasn't been shown demonstrably there's an enormous cost.
