The House of Lords Function Is to Check, Like a Compliance Department
i'm what the house of lords function is to check, like a compliance department, any laws that come from government. All laws basically are made in the house of commons by elected politicians and then it comes into the house of laws for checking. And the commons and the lords work quite well together. I cofounded an organization called vote leave. That member, that group, the ones that won the referendum, i cofounded and put money in to keep that organization afloat. It's all in the book. Whether you're a brexeteer or whether you're a remainer is not the issue. My side of the argument was, i think we should leave the european union
