The Importance of Engaging With the Reality of the Bombing
We don't see the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in this film. We don't see, you know, footage because he wouldn't have seen footage. He hears about it on the radio. There's one sequence which is how he would have heard about it. So his photos are really disturbing. It's a completely insane thing that he did. But I think beyond that... You cannot, engaging with it is important.
