The Soviet Union and the United States

The position of the soviet union with rspect of the axis powers was complex. The united states had participated in world war on, a lot of people thought that we really shouldn't into another such conflict. Americans supported a series of neutrality laws enacted in the 19 thirties to prevent a repetition of the pre 19 17 events that drew the united states in the fighting. We actually had bound ourselves by law to remain neutral to stop us from getting into another conflict like world war one.
