The Danger of Selling to People in Your Own Home
The four of us were hanging out at the apartment as usual, probably smoking weed and goofing around. The men had used their guns to hit my boyfriend's brother and our roommate repeatedly in the head when they tried to explain the weed was gone. They took $2,000 in cash and a pack of gum. I will never forget the feeling that washed over me in that moment, the disappointment that this was it. There was nothing that I could do, utter hopelessness.
