Is the Human Model Interaction Really Important?

The number of papers that go on archive each day is just exploding and I think there's definitely benefits to getting all of this stuff out there, but there's also a lot of harms. It's hard to kind of find good and useful and relevant information from large number of papers being published every day. A lot of PhD students are in this boat where they have to publish papers, get them accepted into conferences in order to graduate. That's maybe not the right objective or the right criteria to measure how well you are doing in your PhD. Being able to share your findings with the community is sort of the best part for me personally.
