How to Reward Candor When You Deploy Feedback

You've got to listen with the intent to understand not to respond. If you if you get defensive that is the last time you'll ever get feedback so you've got to master that instinct don't feel bad about it but master it. Reward the candor by giving them credit for changing your mind and improving your work. You usually don't 100% disagree with 100% of what somebody said there's some little thing you can agree with and then say, I'm not sure I agree with some of your other points may I think about it and get back to you.
