Ferts: North Africa was always a problem child for the Roman Empire. He says Augustine's first understanding of that critique was not Christian, really. The Mannequians thought of themselves as a Christian religion in which they were like "This is what attracted Augustine" Ferts: They actually believed in physical transference out of the cosmos by the souls going up to the moon and then waiting for another planet to come by until they flip out of the material cosmos.
