The Death of Edward V

In March 1483, Edward falls ill during a fishing trip. Ten days later he's dead at the age of 40. His eldest son and heir is only 12 years old. The moment his father dies, he becomes Edward V, England's latest king. In his will, the dead king named his brother, Richard, as Lord Protector. There are rumours they will not cede power to Richard, but attempt to keep it with the Queen's young son as puppet king. To do this, they'd need to remove the Lord Protector from the playing board. If they see his control, he will certainly lose influence and possibly his head.
