In order to count as Africana philosophy, at least for the purposes of this podcast, the working question must not only originate from Africa or from the African diaspora. The Ghanaian philosopher Quasi Veredu points us though in the direction of another way in which a philosophical work could be distinctively Africana. Most of the material we cover in the second and third parts of the series will be distinctively Africane. But none of this applies to McDowell's mind and world.
