Are We the Authors of Our Actions?
We are in a tim i think, this matter of time and generations as they are. Our actions come from the motion of our constituent particles that are fully governed by physical law. I don't think we have freedom of will in the traditional sense. Even things that don't have free will can change their behaviours,. or their behaviours, more precisely, can be impacted by events that they encounter. And so where does morality fit into a picture where you are not charged with making the decision of whether to act one way or another? And how do we use these notions to effectuate action on things that matter, like climate change?
