The Challenges of Technology in America
In just three decades, we've gone from dial-up modems to nearly every single job in America requiring some level of computer proficiency. Walden: We may very well be looking down the road at the situation where we have a large percentage of people who are, say, middle-aged. And they don't have time to go to a four-year college, spend four years retraining. I think we need to encourage businesses to set up their own training programs for people.
