The Importance of Being a Magnum Photographer
I was brought to Magnum by Charlie Harvard. I think as one gets older within Magnum, one life becomes more complicated. You have other kinds of commitments and Magnum takes an increasingly small role in one's life. My primary photographic relationship, of course, is with Rebecca, my wife. There are a few other photographers who both of us show work to sometimes, and they actually happen not to be a Magnum.
