Black Women Mortality During Childbirth and Post Birth

Steve Williams: I used to not understand this data on black women mortality during childbirth and post birth. Black women are actually three times more likely to die from a pregnancy-related cause than white women, he says. He asks how do people get treated when they aren't Dr. Williams? And when they don't have a degree to bring to the table, why aren't they treated the same way with regards to their birth experience?
