The Importance of the Law in Judaism
In judaism, we have always known the intertwinement of halaha and agada f of law or policy. Scholars call that apidectic, because it doesn't justify itself. And then you have the tama de gamara, is basically searching for justification for the mishna rigt. In other words, there's a kind of anxiety in the gomar and the talmed with this idea of unjustified law.
