The Grateful Dead: A Paranoid Experience
The Grateful Dead played a run of three shows at Desert Sky Amphitheater in Arizona 29 years ago today. My friend, a friend of mine who shall go nameless like eight too many mushrooms and somehow convinced himself that he was dehydrating before the show even started. And it turned out that he had like walked straight up the lawn to where the fence was and there's like one of these security guys in like a yellow shirt or whatever. He just goes up to one of them and says I just ate way too many mushrooms. I'm scared I'm going to dehydrate and I’m going to die. But they take him backstage and there are of course people trying to help
