The Danger of Falling in Love With a Character

The world has a way of making people into like a certain band or spectrum of possible existence. I am very curious where Marasi's path is going to take her. If she is able to sort of course correct what's currently happening to create a better schedule, I feel like that's unlikely because obviously for a story we need conflict.
